The quote is attributed to John Meroney from American Enterprise. "It is what I like doing more than anything else which is why I'm bound to be successful." Evans was also determined to become successful in reviving the traditional style of country music that was popularized by legendary artists like Patsy Cline and Hank Snow. Evans was also influenced through George Jones, Tammy Wynette and Patty Loveless. Evans was born in 1970 made her debut in the late 90s, the time when many of the country music's aspiring performers turned to contemporary pop music. That is evident on her first album released in 1997, True Lies. The album was not greeted with critical appreciation and a nomination by the Academy of Country Music in 1998 for best new female vocalist, True Lies made little significant impact. Evans was able to convince her to modify the repertoire for No Place That Far in 1999 by producers. This gave her the fame she'd wanted for a long time. Sara Evans was born February 5, 1971, at Columbia, Missouri. Sara Evans lived her first years of her life with her brothers and sisters.
